Be aware that an expanded version would be disallowed if scrutinized. How do I set the code when I first get it? 1. Turn the dials to the correct combination (0-0-0) 2. Press down the button by a tool, set the new combination (e.g.:8-8-8), then pull the square part 3. I wasn't sure what to expect with this set because it seemed super affordable so I didn't know if the quality would be that great. But it is definitely a winner!!! The tote bag and the suitcase both expand. The suitcase had a cover in the middle to zip in your items in to one side of the suitcase (I've never had that feature). The material on the tote and cosmetic travel bag was a great quality. The suitcase fit easily in overhead bin (Southwest). It was easy to roll the suitcase with the tote attached through the airport and along a few blocks (walked from the subway to the airbnb in DC). I've only used it for one trip but it seems durable. I loved the blue color with the khaki accent straps. I even went to Ross to try and find a cheaper set and nothing came close. Definitely worth the money!
